Common Questions- What Lithe Speakers will this work on?
- There are 4 drivers versions for WiFi Ceiling Speakers (V1 and V2), PRO Ceiling Speakers and IO1 Surface Mount Speakers
- Can I Group the Lithe Speakers with other Control4 speakers in the home for Multi-room?
- For multi-room and you cannot create the group within Control4 you would need to group speakers via AirPlay2 or Google Chromecast then you can take control of the stream in Control4. You cannot group other speakers in the Control4 system as part of the group.
- How do the built in chimes /tones work?
- This feature works on PRO Series and IO1 models, and gives the ability to directly initiate the internal mp3 built into the speaker to reduce latency and ensure local delivery of the tone without any internet connection.
For example, use the speaker as a doorbell annoucnemnt, throughout the home and the garden, use in conjunction with security PIR / CCTV to provide audible deterrent using countdown, security alarms, voice deterrent. Make your project unique and playful. Never shout dinner time for the kids, enable a button to trigger the announcement within each bedroom and living areas.
- Does the Control4 driver support browsing of music services?
- The driver supports the ability to browse streaming sources: Amazon Music, Deezer, Qubuz, Tidal, Local Music Network, Radio, Podcast.(searching not supported currently). Note that it does not support browsing of Spotify, you will need to use the Spotify app / Spotify Connect to stream content to the speaker.
