  • What hardware will I need for this integration?  

  • The Babtech APPModule and Lithe Audio WiFi Ceiling Speakers (V2) or PRO Series Ceiling Speakers
     

  • Can I group the Lithe Speakers for Multi-room?  

  • Yes, you can group up to 5 Speaker pairs for multi-room
     

  • How do the built-in chimes/tones work?  

  • This feature works on PRO Series ceiling speakers only. It can directly initiate the internal mp3 built into the speaker to reduce latency and ensure local delivery of the tone without any internet connection.

    For example, the speaker can be used as a doorbell announcement throughout the home, and it can be used with security PIR / CCTV to provide audible deterrents using countdowns, security alarms, and voice deterrents.

    Make your project unique and playful. Never shout dinner time for the kids, enable a button to trigger the announcement within each bedroom and living areas.

  • Does the KNX LITHE/BABTECH driver support browsing of music services?  

  • The driver supports the ability to browse streaming sources: Amazon Music, Deezer, Qubuz, Tidal, Local Music Network, Radio, and Podcast. (searching is not supported currently).

    Note that it does not support browsing of Spotify, you will need to use the Spotify app / Spotify Connect to stream content to the speaker.
